ChloroWave is a personal MP3 player that streams audio directly from your own Google Drive. We do not host, store, or distribute any music files.
1. Information We Collect
When you use ChloroWave, we collect the following information:
- Google Account email address — used to verify your account and grant access to the app.
- Registration data — your Gmail address, social media share link, and payment reference number, submitted voluntarily during sign-up.
- Google Drive file metadata — file names and IDs of audio files in your
chlorowave folder. We do not access any other files in your Drive.
2. How We Use Your Information
- To verify your account and grant access to ChloroWave.
- To stream audio files from your personal Google Drive.
- To send you account activation notifications via email.
- We do not sell, share, or rent your personal data to any third party.
3. Google API Services
ChloroWave uses the following Google APIs:
- Google Drive API (read-only) — to list and stream audio files from your personal Drive folder named
chlorowave.
- Google OAuth 2.0 — to authenticate your identity securely without storing your password.
- Google Identity Services — to manage the sign-in flow.
ChloroWave's use of Google APIs complies with the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
4. Data Storage
- Registration data (email, share link, payment reference) is stored in a private Google Sheet accessible only to Bluegray Ink.
- Your username preference is stored locally in your browser's localStorage and never transmitted to our servers.
- We do not store your audio files or any Drive content on our servers.
5. Data Sharing
We do not share your personal information with any third parties, advertisers, or analytics services. ChloroWave does not contain any advertisements.
6. Data Retention
Registration data is retained as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your data at any time by contacting us at the email below.
7. Security
Access to your Google Drive is performed using OAuth 2.0 tokens that expire automatically. We never store your Google password or long-lived credentials. All communication between the app and Google services is encrypted via HTTPS.
8. Children's Privacy
ChloroWave is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of ChloroWave after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
10. Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Request access to the personal data we hold about you.
- Request correction or deletion of your data.
- Revoke ChloroWave's access to your Google account at any time via Google Account Permissions.
